Allow tickets to have child tickets.

I would like to be able to assign child tickets to a ticket. These would correspond to sub-projects of a larger project. Currently, most of this is doable just by customizing the various ticket pages under the Admin menu. However I would like to be able to see all children given a parent. rptview does not allow for searching (one would link to rptview searching for the parent), and th1 does not allow for sql queries (query the db and display the children right on the view ticket page); I cannot find a solution.
