Cancelling bgcolor leads to white

In an orange branch (colour propagated) I had a checkin where I set a gray color. Then I decided to take back that gray, and I chose '(none)', thinking it would get the orange color propagated in that branch. Instead of that, it shows 'bgcolor cancelled' but appears in white in the timeline instead of orange.
drh added on 2011-05-03 13:39:31 UTC: The bgcolor is a property. Properties do not layer or stack in Fossil. Sorry to disappoint.
