The changelog for version 1.26 claims "The markdown formatter is now available by default and can be used for tickets, wiki, and embedded documentation."

This would appear to be true for the wiki, but it does not appear to be true for tickets (for example as I edit this ticket at [http://www.fossil-scm.org/fossil/tktnew] the list of format options is wiki/HTML/plain text/[links only] and this is also true of new repositories that I have created using version 1.27 on my local machine). So is the changelog wrong, or is some extra documentation needed to show how to enable markdown in the ticket editor?

P.S. Some documentation about how to use markdown syntax to link to fossil entities would be gratefully received, but I realise that's a different bug.
