For people who use Fossil in their web development project, tickets are likely to contain links to e.g. a specific page in the webapp. Currently pasted links in the Fossil ticket description field (the one I am typing into right now) does not become links in HTML when viewing the ticket.

Fossil performs no "smart" rewriting of user input. If a link needs to be created as such, it needs the appropriate markup for the comment.
