Style:

• Change the mouse cursor to indicate there's a tooltip when clicking.
• Use a classic look for the hyperlink to indicate it can be clicked.

Behavior:

• dwell timeout:
• the tooltip appear automatically after a "dwell timeout".
• "dwell timeout" configurable on the Admin/Timeline setup page

• "click-only" behavior if the "dwell timeout" is zero.

• close timeout:

• the tooltip is closed automatically after a "close timeout".
• "close timeout" configurable on the Admin/Timeline setup page.
• the tooltip is kept open until the mouse is clicked if "close timeout" is zero.
